Kauvai Customs Agency Ltd was established in 2006 by the founder and director of the company, Mr. Willie Kauvai.   

 

Willie has vast experience and knowledge in the Customs industry and has been working in this field for almost 35 years, of that he has worked 16 years in New Zealand for Customs Brokerage Companies and 22 years in the Cook Islands.  He has been involved in both facets of customs services – as a customs agent handling all import and export clearances in New Zealand and the Cook Islands and also as a Senior Customs Officer in the Cook Islands.

He was a former Senior Customs Officer for the Cook Islands Customs Office for 12 years until 2006 when he  decided to form his own customs clearance agency business which has now been in operation for over 15 years.

KCA has been growing rapidly over the years and due to demand from our clients for storage and shipping handling in the Cook Islands, we have now added the extra service of a Customs Controlled Area situated on the Avatiu Port to our company.
